Let me start by saying Joe and Engie have been two of the most pleasurable people to work with. I rarely get to spend a lot of time with my couples, but this time I did. We started by filming the Love Story, a photo montage, and then of course, their big day. The laughter began when they first came over and shared what many of their photos with family would have in common….Engie’s dad shoving Joe out of the picture. This started to make even more sense to me when Engie’s dad gave his toast at the wedding. He tells the story of when Engie told him she met a guy she wanted to go out with, his response was, “Joseph who??….. Over my dead body.” Both of these families were clearly excited and ready to share the joy in Joe and Engie’s wedding day. We began the day at JW Marriott, which is connected to the LA Live Ritz Carlton in downtown Los Angeles. This was a pretty cool location and we got some sweet shots from the JW rooftop! We then headed to St. Sophia Cathedral for the Coptic Orthodox Ceremony and back to the JW for the beautiful reception. I got to shoot alongside one of the coolest photographers I know, Aaron Wilcox. It was a long day that stayed on task thanks to the wonderful Melissa Laudise of Let’s Do This! (Excuse my sidenote here… Congrats to Melissa, who also just got engaged and will tie the knot in 2012!) You may remember Joe’s brother, David, who got married in 2009 and filmed their wedding at the Langham, Pasadena. Also, congrats to David & Mary who have their first baby boy on the way! (Okay, no more sidenotes, promise.) The love Engie and Joe share was felt all around the room. That’s what makes this video exciting and fun, but it will melt your heart at the same time.
It’s that time of year….. and I like it! Here’s the start to Diamond Ranch Football’s 2011 Graphics. Next week, they have their first home game and I will share the media guide then. But first, we designed a 30×36 Poster for their weight room and sponsors. Along with that, we designed sideline passes and business card size schedule cards. Check out the Panthers’ custom designs below!

Well, I am Auntie again! My first nephew Nixon Michael was born this weekend and pretty much came out perfect. Here is a newborn photo of him and a recent photo of my niece, Scottlyn, who was almost 18 months in this pic.

I just spent 2 weeks in Thailand and had the privilege of filming this beautiful wedding from Koh Samui Island at Q Signature Hotel Resort. The island really makes you feel like no one else is around. I can’t imagine a more beautiful country to get married in….the beaches are phenomenal!! I’m a total beach person, so you can imagine I was in heaven out there. This is just a teaser of the details, I didn’t want to spoil the big events. Stay tuned. Music: “Ivy” by the upcoming talent,Active Child. Check him out, he is truly a rising star! Dee tee soot!
It was a long and beautiful day starting from Rodeo Drive to St. Sophia Cathedral to St. Gregory’s Reception Hall. And true to form for a Greek wedding, we enjoyed great food and dancing! Here’s yesterday’s Same Day Edit for Gia & Dallas!

Hanging out in Phuket

And last but not least, riding elephants in the jungle! There are some things I will miss in Thailand besides the simple luxury of lying in paradise on crystal clear beaches. I love the US, but many things don’t compare to $6 coconut oil massages, riding elephants, jet skis, motorbikes, jungle hiking, zip-lining, time bombs, Chang, my daily masseuse – Suwanna, swimming in a monsoon, the word Baht, and eating shark for dinner!!
This was a beautiful hot day in Las Vegas, Nevada where many gathered to celebrate Emilee and Matt’s wedding day. The day took place at Emerald at Queensridge and the bride could not have looked more beautiful. This couple from Vegas met at “a local watering hole,” as said by the groom…but don’t let those humorous words fool you. Soon after a laugh, he’ll melt your heart with his words. Don’t miss these two exchanging vows. It was endearing, just the same as when you watch them together.
Love this fab couple! Check them out and gorgeous wedding featured on Style Unveiled! Amazing photos by VP Photography and an article worth reading. Jen gives great advice to future brides. Thanks to LVL Events for always paying attention to detail!
